CAPE ROYAL DRIVE

This is the main 33 km paved road from Grand Canyon Lodge to Cape Royal. There are numerous pull-offs near the viewpoints. Cape Royal is a promontory that is reached after a 500 m walk through a landscaped natural garden. You are at an altitude of 2,343 m and at one of the best places to watch the sunset or the sunrise. The trail leads to Angel's Window, offering a magnificent view. The trail is also wheelchair accessible. To the west of the parking lot is a picnic area.
