Located east of Yaki Point, named after the rock formation that resembles a duck on a rock.
Located directly east of Yaki Point, this viewpoint on Desert View Drive is a well-known park site. Its local name of Duck on a Rock comes from the rock formation on the left side, which some say looks like a duck on a rock. While erosion and time have worked shamelessly on the once aptly named shape, and greatly reduced the beak of the palmiped, what remains still stands out enough above the canyon to be recognized. The parking lot along the site is particularly easy to access and will accommodate all vehicles.
