Lodge in the pine forests near the Visitors Center and Mather Point in Grand Canyon National Park.

Yavapai Lodge was built in 1958, shortly after the 50th anniversary of the creation of the National Park Service, at the height of the Grand Canyon National Park tourism boom. Although set back from the South Rim, it is only a 20-minute walk to Mather Point, one of the park's most impressive vistas. The lodge itself is reminiscent of the Route 66 motels, close to the park's main attractions. All rooms are fully equipped and decorated in a pleasant rustic style. Restaurant and bar on site.

Le Grand Canyon
Attention vous allez en prendre plein les yeux ! Pas vraiment pour le bungalow en plastique imitation bois et son confort désuet, mais pour le reste, en plein nature. La navette vous emmène ver le GC en quelques minutes. Prévoyez une lampe de poche pour retrouver votre maisonnette car la nuit tombe vite :-)

Il s'agit d'un lieu incroyable situé en plein cœur du grand canyon. Nous avons dormi en pleine nature. Le soir, la nuit tombe très vite et il n'y a pas de lumière pour conserver le côté nature. Des animaux se promènent dans le parc. Le matin, nous étions prêts tôt pour démarrer la randonnée. Ce séjour était au top!

Alors cet hôtel est idéalement placé tout près du canyon.
on paie pour la localisation, on peut ainsi voir le lever et le coucher de soleil
Evidemment ce n'est pas du grand luxe, loin de là, exterierement çà ne paie pas de mine mais clairement ce qu'on vient chercher ici c'est la localisation au sein de Grand Canyon village
