Holocaust Museum covering personal stories of the horrors perpetrated by the Nazis against Jews and non-Jews alike
Open since 2001, the New Mexico Holocaust Museum uses personal stories and lessons learned from great human tragedies to educate and raise awareness among the public and younger people. Approximately 60 percent of the museum focuses on the Holocaust, covering the horrors perpetrated by the Nazis against Jews and non-Jews. In addition to the tragedies of World War II, there are tragedies experienced by African American and Native American populations.
