MUSEUM OF INTERNATIONAL FOLK ART

Founded in 1953 by a wealthy Chicago woman with the goal of connecting the world's different cultures and peoples, this museum is now one of the few institutions dedicated to folk art from around the world. In addition to showcasing international folk and traditional works, it is also a place for exchange, understanding and discussion. It is part of a cultural pole gathering some museums in the south of the city.
