When one is hesitant about the evening's menu, Italian restaurants usually reconcile everyone, as transalpine cuisine is so universal. The restaurant "La Cucinetta" offers very good Italian dishes revisited by the chef Aldo Germanetto. For the love of his mountain restaurant, this Piedmontese chef travels back and forth between Belo Horizonte and Lavras Novas. Asparagus soup, penne with gorgonzola cheese and spaghetti bolognese are all served here. The cellar offers good Chilean, Italian, Argentinean and Portuguese wines.
