MORAIRA CASTLE

Moraira Castle - which is more like a defensive tower - dominates the beach of Ampolla. Its construction dates back to the 18th century. Abandoned in a state of ruin after an English attack in the 19th century, it was only restored in the 1980s. On its thick walls, more than ten metres high, you can still see the openings for the guns
