Water sports and leisure activities Echternach

Outdoor Freizeit offers canoeing and kayaking trips on the Sûre. Participants are responsible for the return trip to their starting point (Outdoor Freizeit will provide you with information about the route). If you are traveling with two families, for example, it is ideal to park one car at the starting point and one at the finishing point. Outdoor Freizeit can also bring your bikes to the arrival point. It is also possible to rent mountain bikes. Rafting is only available for groups of 6 or more when the water level is high enough.

This 35-hectare artificial lake, surrounded by a large forest, will allow you to relax in a pleasant setting. Bike Park (near the Nature House - Naturhaous), fishing, sailing, a beautiful children's playground, a walking tour, an indoor climbing wall at the youth hostel, a trampoline park and a visit to the Roman villa are just some of the activities on offer. The lake can be reached on foot from the centre of Echternach in about 30 minutes.
