Ettelbruck station, once a picturesque stone building, was opened by the Compagnie des chemins de fer de l'Est in 1862. It is located a stone's throw from Ettelbruck town center, on line 10 between Luxembourg-City and Troisvierges-frontière. One of Luxembourg's busiest stations, it is currently undergoing renovation. The project includes the construction of a new bus station in front of the current "Verband" site, a new P&R building and the redevelopment of the local streets.
