Cathedral in Lombard Gothic style with paintings and sculptures of great quality.

Dedicated to Saint Lawrence, the Duomo d'Alba is a 1486 reconstruction of an earlier Romanesque building. The new structure, in Lombard Gothic style, retains the three Romanesque portals and the 11th-century bell tower. The façade was rebuilt in the 19th century. Inside, in addition to the beautiful paving and high-quality paintings and sculptures, the 35 early 16th-century wooden stalls in the choir feature superb marquetry.

tTès jolie cathédrale
Cette très jolie cathédrale mérite vraiment une visite. Elle diffère des autres églises de la ville qui sont toutes très différentes.
