MUSEUM OF FOLK ART (МУЗЕЙ НАРОДНОГО НАРОДНОГО)

The Museum of Folk Art occupies the old house of a local merchant (late th century). Founded by the artisan of Vetka F.G. Škljarov, it includes a collection of manuscripts, ancient books and icons that the artisan had managed to preserve. Today there are very rare objects including books and icons from the th to the th centuries. The museum also houses a beautiful collection of old rušniki, traditional embroidered towels, which at the time used to decorate the interior of the houses.
