Located 40 km north of Minsk, on the M 3 road towards Vitebsk, Lahoïsk and its surroundings are called "Swiss Switzerland" for the beauty of the landscapes: hills, meadows with breathtaking sight and forests. Founded in the th century, the city is linked to the name of the Tyškevič, a powerful Lithuanian family, who in the th century built a secondary residence with a large park, unfortunately destroyed during the Second World War. You can still see the ruins on the right bank of the river Gajna. Further afield, in Savieckaja street, stands the church Saint-Nicolas (Церковь Святого Николая Чудотворца). At the bottom of it is a source to which the inhabitants regularly drink.
