Surrounded by a picturesque natural area, the new library building has existed since 2006. It is a brilliant form, which symbolizes the value of knowledge. The main entry is the form of an open book. The building is quite impressive, especially in the evening when it lights up a thousand lights! The houses in front of the library are decorated by mosaics dating back to 1978, dedicated to Minsk, its history, its successes in the spheres of culture, art and science.

Perspective sur l'avenue de l'Indépendance
Je ne savais même pas que l'avenue la plus longue du monde (15 km), ainsi que le plus gros ensemble d'architecture stalinienne, se trouvaient à Minsk. J'ai appris tout cela grâce à la vue panoramique de la Bibliothèque Nationale.

difficile de la rater . Assez loin du centre de Minsk . Acces facile . Des expositions et les beautes locales qui viennent s y faire prendre en photo .
Very controversial, sometimes criticized, the building of the national library, and still much speak! What is for sure, it is that you can not miss it and that it became an unmissable site to visit in Minsk. It even has become a symbol of the city. You can enter easily inside and visit the permanent exhibitions or temporary which are there, even if they are misleading and if it is easy to get lost in the building. It is the first site that I visté in Minsk and the first that the Belorusses recommended to me to visit!
