In Baroque style, the cathedral was built by the Jesuits from 1700 to 1710. It is the main Catholic church in Belarus. It is dominated by two towers on five levels, with semicircular cavities and domes at the summits. In the central part of the facade, on the pediment, lies the statue of the Virgin Mary. From 1948 until the early 1990 s, the cathedral was closed and served as a gym. Left of the cathedral is the building of the former Jesuit college (th-century). Rebuilt in the late 1960 s, the building lost its original charm. By leaving the cathedral, turn left into lcvs direction. . Inhabited by the city's aristocrats in the th century, its th and th century buildings kept their stamp.
