3 km upstream from the village, you'll find a succession of small waterfalls and retention basins where you can cool off. A guide is optional for this walk, which is relatively straightforward: just follow the course of the wadi little by little. The valley narrows as you go along, passing through a gully between two vertical walls. Superb and exotic, easy to get to. The gorge continues for a further 14 km to a plateau. You can trek here for one or two nights, in which case you'll need a guide.
