FRIOUATO PIT

This abyss, discovered in 1934, is the most famous in Morocco. The entrance gives access to the first 520 steps that go down into the widened part of the chasm. It's a pretty impressive descent, which of course makes the ascent quite tedious, but the show is worth it. If you wish to venture further into the maze of caves, you will need to hire a guide. Reserved for non-claustrophobic people with good shoes and a flashlight (these can be rented at the entrance). An interesting experience!
