PALACIO BABURIZZA -MUSEO MUNICIPAL DE BELLAS ARTES
A museum housed in a stunning Art Nouveau building, with gardens and Chilean and foreign paintings.
Built in 1916 by the Italian architects Barison and Schiavon, then bought in 1925 by the saltpeter magnate Pascual Baburizza, this amazing Art Nouveau building is now a museum. You can visit the gardens, the beautiful restored interiors and its exhibition of Chilean and foreign paintings. The Bahía de Valparaíso by Rugendas, Thomas Somerscales, Juan Francisco González or La niña del gallo by Sergio Montesinos are all worth seeing.
