The Tower of Liberia, declared Historic Monument in 1972, stands as a lighthouse at the foot of one of the first cerros of Valparaíso. It belonged to the railway buildings between the port and Santiago. The pendulum weighs about 10 kg.

Le gros plus de la torre est la proximité avec le muelle baron, c est a dire le quai. Une fois traversées les rails du train tres actif...faites attention..on arrive sur le quai ou logent, dorment et se battent des dizaines de lions de mer que l on peut observer à seulement qq mètres! Au dessus d eux...plein de Pelicans!! Très sympa!
