HANDAPAN FALLS

The Handapan Falls originate in the Rakwana Ganga located within the rainforest. Although listed as only 23 metres high, it is at least a 100 metre waterfall that is visible from the main road a few kilometres away. It is not easy to get close to it as the terrain is difficult and there is no access for vehicles. A trek to get there via Paluna Village starts from Buluthota Pass, south of Rakwana. It is a rocky path through the jungle of about 4 km, designed for adventurers!
