The restaurant Le Buron du Fond-de-Cère in Le Lioran prepares regional specialties with good products and very well served.

This magnificent coach house has been transformed into an inn, keeping its stones, its large fireplace and its red floor tiles. Located at the foot of the ski and hiking trails, this inn offers rooms and an excellent table on the heights of the resort of Lioran. The showers are on the floor. The regional specialities are prepared as they should be, with good products and very well served. Its truffade and its local ham are renowned far and wide. To discover also: stuffed cabbage, pounti, aligot, patranque.

Closed from April 15 to June 15 and from September 15 to December 15. Open mid-December to mid-April and mid-June to mid-September, daily, lunch and dinner. Service from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. Open daily for lunch and dinner. Several 4-bed rooms available. Half-board: 53 per person. Reservations recommended. Menus from €16 to €24. A la carte menu: approx. €16. Half-board : 56 € / pers. Night only : 56 €. Vacation vouchers. Groups welcome (on reservation). Terrace. Bar. Pets allowed.

Très très belle endroit, encore une fois très belle vue, typique du cantal avec des plats régionaux de qualité, un accueil chaleureux, professionnel et une rapidité de service. Je recommande et je reviendrai vite.

Arrivé à 14h00 seul avec mon fils de 7ans après 4h de route, en période de vacances scolaires, un Samedi. Le petit affamé. "Désolé, on ne sert plus à cette heure". Pendant que des gens connaissant manifestement l'endroit se faisaient servir des assiettes commandées alors que nous entrions dans le restaurant. On a pu boire un verre... J'avoue, ce qui a été servi à notre table voisine avait l'air appétissant. Ça vaut peut-être le coup. Encore faut-il avoir ses entrées manifestement.
