ECOLODGE PAPAMENA

At 70 km from Majunga (2:30 a. m.), the Papamena Ecolodge is the last address of Adventure & Discovery Madagascar. Small haven of peace; bungalows are built on the ground or on piles, allowing to respect the surrounding nature: palisers, tamarins, latanians, adabou (small fruit trees that attract green pigeons), bougainvilliers, orange, lemon, kunkun, sakoua, and above all lemuriens and birds (50 species listed on the lodge) that have appropriated the place. We can easily understand why. It's impossible to get bored on the spot, Frank has planned everything: petanthan, archery or compressed air, local sarbacane, cross golf, trampoline, ping-pong, billiards, darts, company games, circuit of radio-controlled cars, mountain biking, wildlife observation, descent (and upwelling!) zébus and soon parameoteur; But especially a beautiful natural swimming pool with small cascade, natural massage, and little tapes on which you can climb the evening to observe the sunset. Ecolodge is also a good base for exploring the region: Anjohibe cave, cascade of Mahafal, surrounding lakes and villages, Papamena cave (20 minutes walk) or Ankatsabe reservation. The address integrates into village life and residents can introduce you to the weaving of rafia or the manufacture of traditional beauty masks. Finally, the ecolodge is only 1:30 a. m. of the beautiful white sandy beaches of Marasakoa, a regal.
