Once you've passed the Pointe de Befasy (a village of turtle fishermen), continue southwards along stretches of white sand to reach the village of Beheloka, the largest in the region. This is the terminus of the straight track leading to the coast from the RN10, which links Andranovory (on the RN7) to Tsihombe to the south. From Beheloka, there are several possible escapades: if you're in a 4x4, you can follow the coastal track that winds between dunes and dry forest, not far from the lagoon, and either head north to Anakao or south to Itampolo, Lavanono and Tanjon'I Vohimena (Cap Sainte-Marie).
