Cathedral built from 1575, with a Renaissance style facade and an interior with baroque features.
Built from 1575 on the orders of King Felipe II, it was consecrated in 1649 and did not acquire its present form until 1690: a Renaissance-style façade and an interior with Baroque features. Its two towers reach a height of 69.36 m. Note the beautiful multicolored tiles, similar to those used in Michoacan. Its interior is full of religious treasures, including altars, furniture and paintings by masters. On weekends, the videomapping "Mosaicos Poblanos" is shown, which presents various aspects of the history and culture of the state of Puebla.

Cathédrale de Puebla
Très belle cathédrale coloniale sur le bord d'un Zocalo (place centrale) particulièrement animé de jour comme de nuit. Son éclairage nocturne la met particulièrement en valeur.

An imposing cathedral. Perhaps one of religious buildings which the most marked me during my 2 months stay in Mexico.
