Gothic-style basilica built in 1929 and belonging to the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church, whose summit can be visited for its views

This basilica of Gothic style, also called Puthan Palli, dates from 1929 and depends on the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church. Its Bible Tower, the central tower 79 meters high, would be the highest of the churches of Asia. One can climb to the top every day except Monday. After some 400 steps, you can enjoy a superb panorama of the city and its surroundings. There is also an elevator for people with reduced mobility, and for the less courageous!
