Quiet hotel where to admire the sunrise and sunset, with quality cottages and the possibility to rent an apartment.

Nassor, the very friendly owner, was one of the first to invest in the village of Nungwi. This is why his hotel is located in a magical place, one of the only places where you can admire both the sunrise and the sunset. The site is quiet, well laid out, and the cottages are of good quality, without superfluous. Possibility to rent a fully equipped apartment. Swimming pool and private beach. Definitely one of the smartest addresses in Zanzibar. Nassor also has a superb ecolodge (Pemba Lodge) on the small island of Shamiani near Pemba.

Welcome to Manarani Beach Cottages, the only place in Zanzibar where you can see both sunset and sunrise!

Our hotel is located at the northern tip of Zanzibar Island in the village of Nungwi, next to the old lighthouse
"mnarani" means "lighthouse" in Swahili.

Mnarani offers excellent accommodation for couples, newlyweds and families looking for a wonderfully relaxing holiday. After climbing Kilimanjaro or going on safari, it is the perfect place to relax. At Mnarani, you can cultivate the art of doing nothing on a beautiful beach.

However, there are also plenty of activities available, such as snorkeling, diving, fishing, sailing, as well as many day trips to the island of Zanzibar. And, although very peaceful and secluded, our hotel is within easy walking distance of the bustling village of Nungwi.

The owner is Nassor Salum Ali, a young entrepreneur from Zanzibar. Nassor is a strong advocate of employing local people, and more than 60% of his staff are from Nungwi village. They are particularly courteous and friendly and do their best to provide impeccable service to all our visitors.

Wundervolle Lage, etwas abseits des touristischen Teil. Kann man einfach mal die Seele baumeln lassen. Der Pool ist etwas flach und klein, aber das Meer ist ja direkt am Hotel und auch der Wellnessbereich ist Klasse. Die Betten sind sehr gemütlich und man kann gut schlafen, ich war rundum zufrieden.
Der touristischen Teil ist auch gut in 10-15 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar:)

Personnel aux petits soins. Les chambres sont très spacieuses et très propres. Les repas et le petit-déjeuner sont très correct et le service est top, nous y avons passé quelques jours et nous avons beaucoup appréciés.

Estamos muy descontentos con este hotel ,porque nos han entrado en la habitación estando nosotros dentro a las 5:00 Am , no sé qué hubiera pasado si no llegásemos a estar ahí , no nos quieren enseñar la hora exacta en la que entran por las cámaras , casualmente se rompe nuestra cámara Justo a esa hora las demás de otras habitaciones no .. nos enseñan antes y después .. pero no la hora exacta en la que nos entran ,también tengo que decir que el hotel de día no te puedes bañar por que la marea es baja y todo es roca no es arena como te pintan en las fotos .. vamos todo un error hospedarnos en este hotel conclusión : tener mucho cuidado con el tema de los robos por que aquí te roban en un descuido .
