MONASTERY OF CRNA REKA

Twenty-eight kilometers south of Novi Pazar, by the M22, and 4 kilometers south of the village of Ribariće, is an incredible monastery, not by its architecture, but not by its location. Indeed, the religious establishment impresses, built as it is in the rock, against the cliff, above the Sovara River. Its only exit to the outside world is a small wooden bridge over the river. Its date of birth is not known, but it was renovated in the 16th century. The relics of Stefan I spent some time here, which made the monastery famous.
