RUINS OF SIRMIUM

A true jewel of ancient archaeology, the ruins of the palace of the Roman emperors testify to the importance of the region for the empire. The site of Sirmium is registered on the list of exceptional cultural monuments and on the list of archaeological sites of exceptional importance of the country. You can visit it, see the traces of the foundations of this large building, some objects that were removed, as well as the traces of a circus. It is necessary to see the Roman mosaics. An extraordinary project of rehabilitation of the site is in progress.
