PATRIARCH'S PALACE
Go there and contact

This imposing building built in 1894 occupies the site of the former Palace of Justice. In the early 20th century it housed a library and gallery created from the personal collection of Patriarch Arsenije Čarnojević, a small part of which can be found today in Belgrade, in the Museum of the Orthodox Church. The patriarchal residence is worth a visit for its St. Dimitri Chapel, which has icons from the 15th to 18th centuries. Currently, the building is the residence of the Bishop of Srem, and the summer residence of the Patriarch.
