First of all, the name is misleading: there is nothing Chinese about this district. This former industrial area is in the process of being converted, and already has several underground bars and concert halls. Full of graffiti, avant-garde art, bars and concert halls, it's a local urban place that captures the city's alternative spirit. It's only a 5-minute walk to the city's favorite beach, Strand, or a 15-minute walk to Fisherman's Island, where you can have lunch at one of the best fish restaurants.
