FRIENDSHIP PARK

Located at the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers, this large park in Novi Beograd was created in 1961, in honor of the first conference of the non-aligned movement. In the center of the alley of Peace is erected a formidable sculpture in the shape of a flower. A symbolic step in this park also called "park of peace", there are many trees staged, planted by politicians during their visit to Belgrade. It is nowadays one of the favorite parks of Belgrade's inhabitants, who fill its alleys on sunny days.
