This is the highest point in the park, a high plateau (311 m), which can only be reached by a difficult road, only in 4 x 4. Access becomes more perilous during the rainy season. But once at the summit, the panorama is lunar, and animals, often the rarest of the park, are all the more appreciated. Derby and Derby Élans, the biggest antelopes in the world, live mostly there, and if you need to see elephants (probably a miracle), useless to search elsewhere. Snakes, among which the particularly dangerous black femur, overwinter in stones. The place is up to its position, difficult to access, and it is no coincidence that it is the favourite of many researchers.
