Louis and his family offer a simple welcome to this authentic camp with their feet in the sand. The 12 rooms in various shades of blue are basic, with a mosquito-screened bed, shower and toilet. At night, you're lulled to sleep by the lapping of the waves. In the early morning, it's not uncommon for dolphins to liven up breakfasts with their presence in the river. Meals feature the day's catch, often brought in by Louis. Several excursions are available from the camp. For total relaxation!

Wir waren zum Mittagessen hier.Es gab famgfrische Garnelen zur Vorspeise uns Zackenfisch als Hauptspeise. Sehr lecker und vollkommen normale Preise.

Campement paisible au bord de la lagune, dans un coin magnifique. L’équipe est au top, super accueillante et arrangeante, les plats sont excellents. Les chambres sont simples mais il y a tout ce qu’il faut. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

Overall we had a great stay. The accommodation is basic and so they keep the price affordable. Thanks to the peace and quiet of the place and the nice attitude of the staff I give 5 stars, but still as almost everywhere in Senegal there is room for some improvement. The points below could be copy pasted everywhere.
For example:
Check rooms just before guests enter them, and sweep out dead insects or dust.
Put at least simple curtains in the windows and between the bathroom and the room.
It would be nice to have homemade or local jam for breakfast instead of the imported strawberry one.
I will come to check it out again :))

Un lieu paisible et magnifique. Le personnel est amical et professionnel. Pour les curieux, explorez les charmes du village de la Pointe de St-Georges, où les habitants sont chaleureux, ouverts à la discussion, et accueillants, mais gardez simplement à l’esprit de respecter leur intimité et demandez avant de prendre des photos.
