An interesting museum is dedicated to the Khama family, one of the most important dynasties in southern Africa. Serowe is the cradle of this dynasty. The museum allows you to discover the traditional way of life of the Banangwato and displays personal belongings of Chief Khama III and his descendants. There are also paintings and numerous photographs of Serowe, testimony to the last hours of Bechuanaland. Pretty wooden sculptures can be purchased here.
