Kang is the best stage to cross the Trans-Kalahari. A few years ago, this locality was unknown to tourism. Today, it has a number of hotels and guest houses. As a stopover village, Kang doesn't allow you to get a large supply of food, but only to make up for it. There is also a petrol station and a cash dispenser. This town is located about 270 km from Ghanzi, 400 km from the Namibian border and 420 km from Gaborone. Although it is not located on the asphalt road, it is still accessible by sedan. The bus linking Gaborone to Ghanzi stops here.
