With its 2,320 km², north of the delta, beyond concessions NG16 and NG20, this concession is one of the largest in Botswana. The Kwando River forms its eastern edge and the border with Namibia for nearly 80 km. The concession experiences the same migratory movement of elephants, buffalo, zebra and wildebeest as its neighbours Linyanti and Selinda, and in general the herbivorous and carnivorous fauna are similar. The concession is also known for its wild dogs, particularly in the south of the concession. All riverside and forest birds are present here, such as egrets, eagles and kingfishers.
