Camp located only 25 minutes drive from Maun that offers four simple but comfortable tents.

Only 25 minutes drive from Maun, Tshima Bush Camp offers an authentic bush experience! The four simple but comfortable tents are scattered in the heart of 30 hectares of bush, near the Nhabe River where hippos are sometimes seen. The area is frequented by a wide variety of birds, aardvarks and sometimes elephants. Veira and Russell are two lovely hosts who take great care of their guests. Veira also cooks wonderfully with vegetables and fruits from the garden. A good base to discover the delta.

Good location when travelling from / to Windhoek from Maun. Spacious shaded spots, clean shared bathroom facilities
Watch out for ants nests when picking a spot , they bite.

Das beste Steak Botswanas und der herzlichste Empfang den wir in zwei Wochen hatten. Der Empfang war so herzlich, wir haben es vor 23:00 nicht zu unseren Zelten geschafft, weil wir uns direkt bei Wein und Bier mit Verena und Russel verquatscht haben. Die Veranda läd mit Kneipe und tollem Garten drumherum auch einfach zum entspannen und gemütlichen Beisammensein ein. Die festen und luxoriösen Zelte warten mit allem auf, was man sich im Busch wünscht. Besonders die Dusche, die morgens einen tollen Blick durch den Giebel in den Himmel und die Bäume offenbart hat, ist in Erinnerung geblieben.
Vielen Dank auch für die tollen Tipps direkt zu Anfang unserer Reise, wir haben es mit vielen Tiersichtungen durch den Moremi und Chobe geschafft.
