DEWACHEN HOTEL

Set on a hilltop in the Phobjikha valley, this is a truly charming hotel. It consists of sixteen rooms spread over three buildings around a central dining room opening onto the valley. Each room has a wood-burning stove for those chilly winter evenings, and a very large bathroom. You really feel like you're nestled in the heart of nature. The view is splendid and, if you're lucky, you may even catch a glimpse of the famous black-necked cranes passing close by.
