VOLUNTARY ARTISTS STUDIO

Created in 1998 by the young artist Azjha Karma, this studio offers young Bhutanese people a place to express themselves outside of school. Its objective: "to destroy the frontiers of art". In a country where only religious art has long been recognized, the association aims to bring out vocations, to highlight the skill and talent of Bhutanese to create contemporary and traditional works. The association also uses art as a therapy to help young people with personal problems to learn the values related to art.
