The best accommodations Parc National De Bardia

This lodge created in 1997 is run by a Nepalese and a Frenchman. Located not far from the entrance of Bardia National Park, in the village of Bethani (Taekurdwara), it was designed in Tharu style and has twelve double rooms with private bathroom. The local atmosphere is warm and friendly. A stream and a large flowery garden with fruit trees border the lodge. The bar and restaurant are welcoming and well kept. All guides are qualified and work in close contact with the national park authorities.

The best budget hotel in Bardia, in this relatively inaccessible national park. The rooms are rudimentary in comfort, with mud walls and straw roofs, and are equipped with mosquito nets and fans, but with a private bathroom and hot water, which is much appreciated. We like the hotel's service, the good food, the beautiful lush garden and the guides' experience in tracking tigers and leopards. The location is perfect, on the edge of the forest, separated from the park by a beautiful river.
