The best accommodations Lumbini

This is the best budget hotel in Lumbini. Don't look here for sophisticated decoration, it's non-existent, but the comfort is optimal: comfortable beds, private bathroom and air conditioning (very important in a Terai often scorching hot), decent breakfast, what more could you ask for? We regret the pale neon garage light, but for the price, it's very reasonable. On the other hand, you can't really call it a garden: it's just a small courtyard with a plastic table for breakfast.

The Maya Garden Resort is set in greenery just a 5-minute walk from the Maya Devi Temple, and this is its main asset. This is Lumbini's best address, with 80 rooms featuring balconies (but aging bathrooms), while an extension is currently under construction. The hotel has a bar, a lovely swimming pool and a restaurant serving delicious food. It also offers guided tours of Lumbini's sacred sites.
