Favourite of the category! This superb Newar building belongs to Himalayan Encounters, a group that organizes rafting descents. The view of the Himalayas, the cosy atmosphere and the neat wooden décor add to the smiling and friendly team. The eleven rooms spread over three floors share small slate bathrooms. From some rooms, you only need to push the shutters down to admire, from your bed, the great Himalayan range. The food is not to be missed. The hotel has an annex on the same square.

This is the best budget hotel in Bandipur, just a stone's throw from the center. The rooms are really cosy for the price, with pretty floors, soft beds and a ceiling fan, which is very pleasant. Cleanliness is impeccable, and each room has its own individual bathroom. Simply furnished and decorated, this is a pleasant hotel with a warm family welcome. The restaurant serves delicious local cuisine... It's a great place to stop off in this village.

This is truly a boutique hotel in Bandipur, housed in an old house in the center of the village, which is also a lively coffee-shop overlooking the center's main pedestrian street on its first floor. This small hotel has just six rooms, all set against brick walls with artistic alcoves for decorative lamps, a creative and authentic charm. They look out onto the street through carved wooden windows and small balconies. The breakfast served here is delicious, with excellent coffee and good service.

On the ground floor: Dining room, terrace and small vestibule in which an imposing buffet is decorated with photos of families. On the floor: 6 rooms, 4 with shared bathroom. Those with views are not more expensive and offer a nice panorama of the terrace cultures and the valley. A simple address, which has the typical charm of limbu architecture. On the kitchen side, nothing to report, you can taste your eyes closed.

The Gaun Ghar plays the card of the traditional Newar style and it works: mud walls, carved wooden windows... The house is organized around a central courtyard overlooking the rooms with balconies. Some of them overlook the street. The bathrooms in Bandipur slate combined with the metal washbasins make their effect. The whole is very successful and brand new. The hotel also has a restaurant whose cuisine is of very good quality and newar style. The price is a little high, but we like it very much anyway.
