A true haven of peace in the heart of Kathmandu, the Garden of Dreams is an idyllic place to escape the hustle and bustle of the capital. Many readers, walkers and gamblers meet there for an afternoon. Idyllic atmosphere. A glance at the statue of Laxmi, made by the creator of the garden, Kaiser Shumsher (1892-1964), who drew his inspiration from a statue of Nike, the Greek goddess of victory, in the Louvre museum. There is also a charming little café in the garden, the Kaiser Café.

Près de Thamel
Ce parc est situé près de Thamel. Il ne présente guère d'intérêt même si on peut y admirer de belles fleurs, mais bon son romantisme reste limité.

C'est un jardin avec de belles essences d'arbres et de fleurs où le calme et la tranquillité sont de mises.Dans les murs du jardins nt été crée un ensemble de 6 pavillons dédié à chaque saisons du Népal de fontaines et de statues par KAISER SUMSHER La statue de LAXMI se trouve sur un coté

C'est un endroit exceptionnel dans Katmandou. Une pause silence bienvenue au milieu du tumulte de cette capitale.
Le jardin est magnifique, on peut s'assoir sur les bancs et regarder les visiteurs se prendre en photo.
Le café Kaiser est très bien mais cher par rapport au reste de Katmandou mais le silence est d'or n'est ce pas ! On peut aussi bien y boire un verre qu'y déjeuner
Attention l'entrée du jardin est payante. 200 roupies par personne
