The Gopi Krishna cinema is the largest and oldest multiplex cinema in Nepal with seven screens and a total capacity of 3,000 seats. The owner of this cinema has the ambition to enhance the value of cinematic productions made in Nepal, by raising awareness of Nepalese culture among the locals. Nepalese films are shown daily. Some Indian blockbusters are also shown. Note that there is a 50% discount on all films every morning, and in the evening only from Sunday to Thursday (except public holidays).
