Petit Futé's opinion on CHIHULY GARDEN & GLASS

What a magical place that museum! If you think the glass leaves you marble, you don't have to. The. Garden & Glass is the perfect place to stay. Dale Chihuly, a U.S. and Tacoma master of glass, is celebrated here. Inaugurated in July 2012, this museum presents some of its most beautiful works, glittering gardens, boats loaded with transparent bubbles, festival of colours and round shapes, air and fascinating. The visit is a constant wonder, especially at night, where the sculptures are illuminated in order to glorify them even more. The large glass garden, which leads to the garden, has a huge glass fresco, dominated by the Space Needle, which is discovered in transparency.
To better understand the inspiration and work of creating the artist, you can participate in a guided tour of the museum and gardens every day during the day. A theatre also allows you to watch several videos broadcast in loop and presenting the artist at work as well as several exhibitions around the world.
Special events such as yoga classes, visits to the museum gardener or thematic conferences are at your disposal. Find out more about the museum's website. An object and art shop linked to the theme of Chihuly is to be discovered at the exit of the museum.
Chihuly Garden & Glass is the second most popular attraction in the neighborhood after the Space Needle. So let's take a visit early in the morning or on weekdays.
