North shore shuttle

Parking at the Kalalau Trailhead is now limited to 100 vehicles, so it is best to access the trailhead via the North Coast Shuttle. The North Coast Shuttle leaves from Waipa Market every half hour from 6:30 to 11:30 a.m. It takes about 30 minutes to get to the trailhead. For the return trip, the shuttles leave every 30 minutes from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm and then when the shuttles are full from 2:00 pm to the last shuttle of the day at 5:30 pm. Boarding is mandatory at Waipa unless you have proof of accommodation that allows you to board further away.
