EXPEDITIONS FERRY

This is the cheapest and fastest way to get to Lanai from Maui. Four trips per day from Lahaina to Manele Harbor on Lanai and four trips in the other direction. Departures from Maui to Lanai: 6:45am, 9:45am, 1pm, 4pm. Departures from Lanai to Maui: 8:15am, 11:15am, 2:30pm, 5:30pm. The Auʻau Channel crossing takes 45 minutes. From December through April, humpback whales can easily be seen from the boat as they breed. The rest of the year, views of the Maui Mountains. Boarding is thirty minutes before the ship leaves.
