HAMOA BEACH

Charming beach surrounded by coconut trees and lush vegetation. The waves make the happiness of surfers and boogie-boarders. It is possible to swim there but beware of the currents. Its fine golden sand is an exception on this part of the volcanic coast, especially since the crescent shape of the beach gives it an undeniable postcard look. From the parking lot, two accesses are possible, one quite steep with stairs, and the other by a dirt road to be taken only on foot. The place is very popular with travelers.
