UKULELE HAWAII FESTIVAL

This is THE festival of Hawaii. It was created in 1971 by Roy and Kathy Sakuma, ukulele teachers passionate about their instrument. If at the beginning the artists who played in this festival were above all locals, it has grown since then and now welcomes every year big names of the international scene. And it is today the biggest festival of the world dedicated to the ukulele! Every year thousands of spectators come to listen to free concerts of the archipelago's favorite instrument at Kapiolani Park in Waikiki.
