THOMPSON'S

The building was built in 1910 and was once the Fort Worth Pharmacy, Atlantic Coffee Co. a drugstore, a bookstore, and then finally Thompson's Bookstore Cocktail Lounge and Speakeasy. The atmosphere is very authentic, with an old bar that is reminiscent of the prohibition era. The atmosphere of the bookstore has been kept, with shelves of books, and from the outside it looks more like a bookstore than a bar. A way to hide this old fashioned speakeasy. The cocktails here are very good. Sit down on a couch or armchair and relax.
