Historic West End is a small corner west of Downtown, between Commerce Street to the south, Highway 366 and IH-35.
This little corner west of Downtown, between Commerce Street to the south, Highway 366 to the north and IH-35 to the east, is perfect for a walk. Historic node of the Dallas railroad network, the neighborhood developed around red brick warehouses. The whole area is rather well preserved and keeps a lot of charm despite the touristy restaurants on Market Street. It is in this district that you will find the Sixth Floor Museum, the Dallas World Aquarium and Ellen's: a soul food restaurant with continuous service.
